Photography Competition 2008

Results

The competition was open to all pupils of Abingdon School, Abingdon Prep, The Manor and St Helens and was judged in four age group categories based on the entrant's school year in May 2008.

The theme of the competition was "Here Comes Summer".

Entries were invited that expressed the theme in its widest sense through, for example, images of summer term activities or family holidays, from landscapes to still-life; through a figurative response or one that focuses on a more abstract interpretation. Whatever the subject, the judges were looking for visually engaging images that portray the essential characteristics of summer through the eyes of young people.

First Prize
